So, after years of desiring, working, wanting...
We’ve got it.
What is “It” you ask?
You know what it is.
Now what?
First of all, Congratulations! We’ve worked extremely hard to get to this point of the journey. Be proud.
What are some of the feelings we can experience during this time?
Excitement, relief, nerves, a little shock.
We don’t have to ask for permission anymore, which feels absolutely freeing and energizing!
However…
We don’t have to ask for permission anymore…
which is weird
and a little intimidating.
There’s no one to truly dictate what decisions we make. No one to provide us with the next perfect step. No one to say “You’re doing it right!”
Can we be honest?
It’s like knowing something feels right, but still lowkey desiring a sky mommy to go “Yes, you’re allowed!”
Here’s a perspective—
After such a long time of wanting something, that embodiment becomes a part of our identity, and it’s a bit of a culture shock to adjust from the embodiment of “wanting” to “having”.
Maybe, just maybe, thats where affirmations come into play.
When we repeat phrases that align with a part of ourselves we haven’t quite experienced yet, it can feel a little silly.
Like, why the hell am I calling myself a world-class DJ when I’m still DJ’ing at local bars on Tuesday nights?
The truth is, we’re preparing our internal identity for a smoother transition into the material shift that we’ve been working towards.
“Uh, girl what?”
BASICALLY, our minds have to be ready for when vigorous preparation and sweet opportunity FINALLY meet.
Is this what Dira thought being an adult would feel like?
…Kinda.
The pirate of my own ship!
Hijacking??
Something like that, more like an honorable hijacking.
We’re taking the wheel from those whom we allowed to steer for us,
to finally having the gusto to steer our own fucking ship.
Remember…
This is well deserved.
We deserve the good things.
We deserve to live the life we choose.
We deserve to not only GET what we want, but to HAVE what we want.
We are allowed to be here.
